Does home sharing work w/ ipod shuffle (2nd gen)?

Trying to set up home sharing, but Getting Started instructions specify an iOS device w/ iOS 4.3 or later. Thanks in advance

iPod shuffle, Windows 7

Hello AJ94599,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you want to use the iPod shuffle with Home Sharing.

As you stated, Home Sharing requires iOS 4.3.

The current version of the Operating System for the iPod Shuffle 1.0.2. You can verify this in iTunes, and this article will help you find the version number of your iPod Shuffle:
