I have an Iphone 4 & my contacts were not imported like I was told they were. I need to know how to do this using the card & my computer.

When you got this iPhone 4, was it to replace another phone, one that was not an iPhone? The iPhone does not store contacts on the SIM, so they would have to be stored there if the other phone handled it that way. If the SIM fits, you could temporarily put it in the phone and select to Import the contacts from the SIM.
Not sure who "they" are, but you could also go back and check with "them".
