My iPod touch won't sync with iTunes.

I recently got a Macbook Pro but now my iPod touch (2nd generation) won't sync with iTunes. I plug it in and iTunes detects it, but when I try to sync it, it will say cannot sync ipod "x", error (-50)

I would first suggest that you backup your iPod touch using iCloud before you troubleshoot on your new computer.

These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
