Q: Music lost or can I retrieve?

Is there any way to retrieve all my music that was on a work computer that was damaged and the hard drive isn't available? I had not backed up my library, I thought it was backed up on itunes (dumb I now know). Do I have any hope I purchased and downloaded to that computer?

If it was purchased at one of the major online music stores, such as the iTunes Store, Amazon MP3, or Google Play Music, you can go back and download fresh copies at no charge. For example, for songs from the iTunes Store, see this procedure:
