Q: I no longer want to use my WiFi to connect to my printer I want to use a usb

I no longer want to use my WiFi to connect to my printer I want to use a usb but cant get it to work do I need to change something in the printer?

    If you want to change the way that your printer connects, then you must first reset the printer back to its original new, out of box settings.

     

    Consult the documentation that came with your printer for this information, then connect the printer using the USB connection to the AirPort router so that it can be configured to operate that way.

     

    You do realize that connecting this way will only allow the print function to work....and if you have an All-in-One type of device that includes advanced features like copy, scan, fax, maintenance, etc these features will not be supported when you connect using USB, correct?
