Will a new sim make me loose all my apps on my iphone?

I recently changed my plan to a sim only plan with Vodafone. They've sent me a new sim with a new number. I want to keep my old number. The only way to get my old number back is to insert the new sim into the phone and give them a call back in 24 hours to switch me back to my old number. What I would like to know is if I inserted the new sim into the phone, will I lose all my stuff that's currently on my iphone?
