I am working on a MacBook Pro with Lion. The Mail App has become completely unresponsive. All other apps are working fine, but Mail is just stuck. It spins and spins and will not let me do anything. I removed the plist and lock files from Library>Permissions and also ran a Permissions Repair. It still is completely unresponsive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Press Alt, Command and Esc keys, select Mail and force quit it. Then, open that application again

You can also pull up activity monitor in your spotlight and force quit the process. I have noticed this issue in a few units lately. This article may prove useful as it did for me on a customers unit.
