Facebook app does not work on my iPhone 4S

Hi,

All of a sudden Facebook app will not update comments etc or upload photos taken on my iPhone. I have deleted it from my phone and then re-installed it from the App Store but still the little icon at the top just whizzes round and round and nothing updates. I have powered down the phone and then started it up again, but that didn't help either.

Everything is fine on my ipad and laptop, so any help or suggestions would be great. Maybe I should try a re-install by synching with iTunes via my laptop?
