Should I get the Macbook Air 128GB or 256GB?

I can't decide whether or not to get the macbook air 128GB with the upgraded 1.7ghz processor and the 8gb memory or should I go for the 256GB with either the upgraded processor or memory but not both.

If you are going to store a lot of data and you are not sure if 128 GB are enough, go for 256 GB of flash storage and 8 GB of memory. I don't recommend you to buy a MacBook with 4 GB of memory as we don't know if this amount of memory will be enough in future Mac OS X versions.

Respecting to the flash storage, if you don't have enough storage with only 128 GB, purchase an external drive and put your data there. You should buy one or two external drives to make backups of your files

priority would be 8gig of RAM first

second your SSD 256gig (if cost isnt an issue)

third would be I5 vs. I7

Here is an excellent video comparison between the 11” I5 vs. I7 2013 Macbook Air.

13" would be roughly the same comparison as above with 11"

256gig and 512gig SSD are getting up to 400mb per SECOND faster write speeds than 128gig due to SSD density
