Can Numbers '09 get info from the web?

I am looking to implement indormation from website charts such as Yahoo Finance into a chart in Numbers '09. I know this is possible to do in Microsoft Excel, No matter how terrible a product. I have used this before in Excel for stcok charts and graph the data into quite elaborate documents. Just wanting to know. this is quite a serious function to implement and it would help tremendously.

Hi Nicholas,

Not directly. It can be, and has been done using AppleScript, and some of thise scripts have been posted in these discussions. My understanding, though, is that the specific script depends on a knowledge of the structure of the specific website.

Beyond that, AppleScript is pretty much outside my field.

Regards,

Barry
