I am not able to add mailboxes or folders to mail so I can organize emails I receive. Can folders be added? If so, how? Thanks.
iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3
Open Mail, navigate to Inbox. Tap on Edit button on top right. Then tap on New Mailbox button on bottom right. Tap on Done.
Please note if you do not have an IMAP email account you will not be able to do this.
You can only do it with IMAP email account; to do this:
1. Go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your Inbox, Trash folder and Sent folder are.
2. Tap the Edit button
3. Tap Add Mailbox (bottom)
Note: If there is no Edit button, your email account is not a IMAP account
