Being playing up latley can't burn DVD, was crashing. Now can't even open FCP messages being sent to Apple , previous experience tell me not to wait for a reply, so any help from the brain trust.

When the application won't even start, it's generally your preferences that have become corrupted- so going through the above troubleshooting basics should do the trick. Also simply deleting FCP X and reinstalling from the App Store often clears this sort of thing out. Either way your existing Events and Projects won't be affected.
What does " ERROR CODE - 50 " mean.
Hi Griff, Have used trouble shooting before with luck but now can't get far without "Error code - 50 "
