Thanks for that, but been there, done that. I have reinstalled qt7 on my MBP and still have the same issue. I also have a mini that seems to want to join in the fun.
So here's the scenario. I have QT7. I have a code. I click the drop down and try to select register. IT DOES NOTHING! No little pop up windows to put my code into, no helpful links. NOTHING!
Correct! I'm not getting that box. I will try the new admin account but since I am getting the same problem on two different machines I'm sceptical.
I'm currently at work so will try your suggestion when I get home. Thank you.
If it doesn't work in the new account, then all I can suggest is to reinstall the OS, redownload QT 7, and try again.
If the only option is to reinstall the OS I'll be asking for a £20 refunf for the pro key I cannot use. I've already lost two hours of my life on this problem as it is. All I want to do is stitch a timelapse together. The only reason I've got this far is the money involved!
Just so you know, the new admin account didn't work either. Seems very odd that it doesn't work on two machines. Must be a mountain lion quirk. Not seen any forum threads on it though.
Thanks for you help though.
Hi, same problem here, except I do get the box, but absolutely nothing happens when I press TAB after entering the correct data.
As you say, probably a mountain lion bug.

No, it's not an issue with SL, Lion, ML, or Mavericks. I have Quicktime Pro registered to all of these versions.
It's not seen in other forum threads because it's not a problem.
After you enter the Registration Code, just press Tab, don't press Enter first.
Download the last QT7 for OS X version here and reinstall it. See if that brings back the registration box.
Nope! Didn't work. I think I tried it before and got nowhere with it but still tried again anyway!
Just because it's not a problem for you, doesn't mean it's not a problem.
"After you enter the Registration Code, just press Tab, don't press Enter first."
You're not getting this. I don't even get to the box where I can enter the code never mind what to do afterwards.
Even more interesting. The link I posted for Lee.e is the same download I used for Mavericks. And yet the version doesn't match either yours, or Lanny's exactly.
I should say that's the link I used over a year ago and had stored away on an external drive. Has Apple been quietly updating the same linked file? Everything about Lanny's and my screen shot is the same except his says 1710, and mine says 1709. Hmm.
