okay so i got my brother's old macbook because he got a new one.

how do i get rid of his itunes and his music so i could use my iphone on it?

it pretty much has all of his music, and i want the itunes to have the music I buy. how can i do that?

Simplest way is to create you own computer login and delete his.

System prefs > User & Groups.

Click the + sign below Login Options to create a new user (for you).

Add a Username & Password.

Close System prefs & restart the computer.

Login with yoru user account.

Go back to System prefs > Users & Groups select yrou brothers old account then click the - (munis) sign below Login Options.


Launch iTunes and you now have new empty library.
