Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro..

I am a student, and at my college they use Windows Operating System. So, a lot of files, and discs that I have wil not run on my MacBook. So, my questions are: 1) Where can I get Windows 7? (that does not cost an arm and a leg) 2) Will I be able to install myself?
