I've just used MA to move all my files from my windows pc to my new mac. Now I have a user account that says "Dell"on my Mac. I would like al these transferred files to be in my Mac user account so I can delete the Dell user account. How do I do this?

Thank you for your reply. I probably didn't word my question very well.

All the files I care about are in this Dell user account. Is there a way for me to get them into my Ma user account so I can delete the Dell user account? For example, I would like my iTunes ibrary to be in my Mac account but it's in my Dell account. How do I transfer all these migrated files from my Dell User Account to my Mac User Account?

Hi Niel,

There is no "Dell Folder" There's only a Dell "User Account". For example, when I turn on the computer there are THREE User Accounts, Dell, Mac 9with my name), and "Guest". The only way I can get to my files is by logging into my Dell account. Once I'm in that account there's no Dell folder. I'd like all the files in my Dell account to be in my Mac account so I can delete the Dell account completely. That way when I add files or music to iTunes, the entire library will be in my ma account. The way it is now, I would have to add all new documents, spreadsheets, music, etc. to my Dell account. This doesn't seem right. I would think that I could get these into my Mac account. Does this clarify my question better? Thanks for your help, I reallly do appreciate it. Hopefully I can resolve this. If not, I can always call Apple support as my Mac is brand new,
