no longer have email associated with itunes

I no longer have access to the email that was associated with my old itunes account. As a result I can not listen to the music i purchased with it since I can not remember the password or use email recovery. Is their anyway I can transfer my purchases to my current user account?

All content is tied to the account that you downloaded them with, and you can't transfer them to a different account. If you can't remember the password and don't have access to the email account, then do you know the answers to the security questions on it ? If you do then you can try getting the password reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com, and if that works then you can update the primary email address on it : http://appleid.apple.com
