I drained my ipod touch, and then i plugged in to my computer. Its been fourty minutes since the charge but it still shows the battery with the charging icon. It has been dropped earlier. and this has never happened before. when i open it, it opens for 10 minutes only. PLEASE HELPPP 😢

Try charging using the power adapter connected to an electrical outlet instead. It will charge must faster than connected to a computer.

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
My ipod wont turn on while charging for 40 minutes!!
