Does anyone know if numers 09 is compatible with 10.8.4 all requirements advise 10.7 upwards, doing the right thing ,keep upgraded, numbers just freezes when selecting any thig from the menu bar and won't open any templates, any suggestions ? I may be quicker using a sharp pencil and a ruler - much cheeper also :(((((((((((((((

Numbers is compatible with 10.8.4
I suggest removing the preferences for Numbers by navigating to your users preferences folder using the menu item (in the Finder) "Go > Go To Folder"
Quit Numbers
enter the path "/Users/<YOUR_USER)_NAME>/Library/Application Support/"
then locate and move the files (but do NOT empty) to the trash:
com.apple.iWork.Numbers.LSSharedFileList.plist
com.apple.iWork.Numbers.plist
Now restart Numners. If this does not work try opening Number while holding the <SHIFT> key to tell Number to skip opening already open docs.
Finally trash Numbers and reinstall from the the App strore
What version of Numbers do you have? You may just need to make sure is updated. The current version is Numbers 2.3.
