Song shows as "Purchased" in iTunes and won't let me re-download it, but it doesn't show up in my Purchased list. I want the song back, don't mind re-downloading, but it won't let me

I purchased iTunes music and I have the icon on my phone but only white screen comes up, I can't choose or play music

I just had this problem and all you have to do is click to buy the song and you type in your password and it will tell you that you can download it for free because it's purchased

At the top of this screen, see if it says "Following". If it does, click it so it says "Follow".

Just go to purchase it again, and the store will say that you already purchased it and then it will as you if you want to download it again.

This actually worked. Contacted apple support and they weren't able to help but this was the solution
