Airport

The light on my airport base station is a solid green. I can use the guest network with no problem. When I try to sign in with the password for the base station it says incorrect password. When I go to the airport utility, the Internet light shows green but it says no configured airport base stations have been found. Where do I start? Will a soft reset work? Why does the guest work if it isn't configured?
