restore camera roll after reset

my 5 keeps automatically restarting, but when it restarts it looks like it takes 3-4 tries to actually get to hoem screen. I'm going to try to reset the phone to factory resets. my only question is how to reload camera roll? everything else seems straight forward but how to do i just load photos? i'm concerned about restoring my phone (after i reset it to factory resets) to the lastest entire backup, as this might just reload my current issue as well? any of that make sense? Thanks in advance!

The only way to reload the Camera Roll is by restoring a backup. The Camera Roll is intended to be temporary storage until you can transfer the images to your computer. It is not intended to be the permanent home of photos, any more than the SD card in your digital camera is intended to be permanent storage.

You should be transferring phones regularly to your computer, deleting them from the Camera Roll, then organize them and sync them back to the Photos app.
