How can I get something out of my headphone jack on iphone 5. It won't come out and I can't listen to music. :(

Might be some debris in the head phone jack try cleaning it out with a can of air or by sliding the jack in and out a couple of times. Also try another set of headphones it may be the headphones that are broken.

Do NOT put anything in the headphone jack as you may jam things in even further. I'd take it to your nearest Apple Store.

If there's debris in the headset jack receptacle, and he puts in another jack, and damages the device, then that won't be covered by normal warranty.

Mercerkeri, you can try the canned air, but be very careful. If it seems lodged in, don't try to force it out. Take it to an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support.

Well try this also if there is something jammed in there. raise and lower the volume the symbol on the screen will either show a bell or headphones. If it shows headphones then there is something stuck in there. If not try a good pair of headphones.

That icon will only show if something that is lodged in the headset jack is triggering a connection. Something non-conductive, for example, won't trigger that icon. A wooden splinter, for example, will not make the iPhone think there's a headset plugged in.

Mercerki, AGAIN, do NOT stick anything in the headset jack if you believe there is debris in there. It's far better to let Apple help you directly instead of accidentally voiding your warranty by damaging the device.
