Problems accessing mac server vpn via netgear dgn2300v3

Help.

Running VPN on Mac Server 10.7.5 accessable inside the network but not externally. I have NAT'ed ports (500, 1701 and 4500) on the Netgear DGN2200v3 router which all slow as open in stealth mode using Gibson Research Sheilds Up (https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2) and pointed them at the internal sever IP address. The IP axternal address is pingable externally.

All suggestions welcomed.

Hi Bryan,

I'll try in the morning and get back to you.

I forgot to mention ports 1701 and 4500 I created the port forwarding to my server ip address, however port 500 was open already or so the router says but can't find anywhere in the config where the port is forwarding to. It's this I believe that is causing me the problems.

Hi Bryan,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but only just got back to site. Tried port 50 and although it allowed me to port forward to my server I still can't port forward port 500 as the router is telling me it's in use. I've checked and had two other colleagues check and it's not in use. So I need someone who knows this Netgear DGN2200v3 inside out to help.

All ports other than the VPN IPSec related related ports show as open on the router but 50, 1701, 4500 should "open stealth".
