searching for duplicate songs in my library...

In iTunes 11.0.5, whenever i search for a song in my library, the search results show up below the search box. This annoys me because its much harder to determine how many times you have the same song in your library. before iTunes 11, the search results would appear in your library. this was a much more useful way to eliminate duplicate songs, and I am very sorry I ever upgraded to iTunes 11, but, since I can't go back to iTunes 10, I'm wondering if there is a way to make the search function behave like it did before iTunes 11 was released? this has been bothering me for several months to no avail, and if someone knows how to make it behave like before, I'd be happy! thanks!
