Q: if my ipod is broken how do i get the photos back if i did not backup my ipod?

ok, my ipod ended up at the bottom of a river ....long story... i hadnt backed it up. how do i get all my photos and videos back?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3, ipod 5
