The songs play in iTunes. The iPod was synced to another iTunes library/computer a couple years ago. I have not synced from my current iTunes on my computer before. When I try to sync my iPod to my Mac, in iTunes, i go to File, then Devices, and Doug Mendel's iPod is highlighted. But nothing happens. Not sure about the right boxes checked to sync ?

Thank you for replying.

You can only sync all media to one computer/iTunes library. However, you can sync music and videos from any computer iTunes library if you use the manual method included here:

iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad

If you want to make this computer/iTunes library you syncing computer then:

If all the synced media like apps and music are already in the iTunes library then just backup the iPod to iTunes and restore the iPod from that backup
