I'm confused about where in the process the KB effect is lost – at import or at export? Where was the effect created – in FCPX or another program?

Following the way to find the bug:
My mac is Air11', OSX10.3, Final cut pro x 10.0.9.
1.Open FCP,
2. Create a item, Add some pic.
3. Set KB effect to pic.
4.Export to XML file.
5.Import this XML file.
6. Share to a video file.
7. Watch the video, you will find the KB effect is lost.

I made a little test project, and I also experienced the bug you describe.
I found a little workaround, that may be helpful: in the Inspector, toggle the Crop effect off and back on, by clicking the corresponding square, and then the export turns out ok.
Still can't do it. It may be specification dependent.
