Q: MacBook Can't Find Printer

AT&T installed a new AT&T router for my Gateway SX280 based home network, replacing my old Linksys router. But my wirelessly connected MacBook no longer can 'see' the printer connected to the PC via a USB port.

Prior to the change, I could just 'print' from the print command and printing commenced with no issues.

I tried numerous steps to locate the Epson Stylus R280, using the 'advanced' functon on my MacBook printer preferences/setup, but after typing-in more than one/two 'smb//' (locations) under "Windows" pull-down menu in the 'add printer' set-up tool, I only get 'incorrect network-failed notices' after trying to print.

Could someone help, please?

Thanks... Smokeyboy
