iphoto has stopped working

i-photo has stopped working on my macbook pro. I have reloaded it a few times but nothing changes. Now I can't get the photo's and videos off my i-phone, which now has no memory left. Any advise??

Hello Simon

There are a few things to try. The first is rebuilding your iPhoto library. If that does not work, create a new library. You can also use Image Capture to import the photos and videos.
