Sep 2, 2013 4:48 PM in response to esmom1896by léonie,iCloud has not been designed to store pictures, only to sync and share pictures. The options you are having:
- My Photo Stream: To sync new photos you have taken auto matically to all your devices, see iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
- Shared Photo streams: To share a selection of photos wit your friends and familiy iCloud: Using and troubleshooting Shared Photo Streams
- Published Journals: Layout your photos as a journals, see: iPhoto for iOS (iPad): Create a journal
- Backup your Camera Roll on IOS devices, Using iCloud backup: Apple Support Communities
But there is no option to store all your photos only in iCloud, like iDisk used to do, sorry. The Photo stream will only keep the last 1000 photos, and only for a month in iCloud.
