stupid apple ID.

stupid apple ID.

I can not for the life of me get it changed on my iPhone 5 with verizon. It is making me so mad I want to smash this sweet little $700 device into millions of fragments.

it's been almost a week without facetime....imessage... or anything fun.

The reason this started is because of my psycotic ex boyfriend wouldn't stop emailing me and I without thinking deleted the email account. but now what with the phone, how do I get it to realize I have to change it there? So confused it hurts my feelings. Im usually awesome at this.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Ok so we need to check first if your new email is actually an Apple ID.

- go to this site: https://appleid.apple.com

- select manage your apple id

- try to sign into new account

- if signing into new account fails try to sign into old account

Don't exactly know what you are asking, as your heading refers to an apple id and your post refers to receiving emails.

Do you want to change the Apple ID signed in on the iPhone or do you want to change the email signed in on the mail app?

When i go to log in with my apple id it always says everything is wrong and nothing matches. I finally got logged into this on the computer. Do i delete some account on my phone and then how do I put in my new email im using right now on this website.

WHen you go to login to what? What tells you everything is wrong?

On the iPhone go to settings>itunes & app store. Is an Apple ID already showing here or is it asking you to sign in?

If you want to use a new email for the Apple ID best thing to do would be to edit your current Apple ID instead of creating a new one.

It asks me to sign in, I edited it at one point and set it to a different email but now when I go to log in it says invalid for the email and password. So I reset the password thinking that's the issue, enter the new password and it still won't work. maybe I'm doing it wrong I will try again.
