If you open Image Capture, which is located in Applications, does the MG appear in the left sidebar? And if it does and you select it, does the scanning window appear?

Sep 2, 2013 11:14 PM in response to Soshi1916by PAHU,That would suggest that the scanner driver is not installed. There are two scanner drivers available. There is the ICA driver which is for scanning with Image Capture and Preview and this is available from Apple. It should download to the Mac when you select to add the MG. The Print & Scan pane would then show two panes for the MG - a Print and a Scan.
If you want to use the MP Navigator application from Canon, you must install the TWAIN driver for the MG62xx Series. Here is a link to that scanner driver.
