Does Western Digital MyBook Live NAS Drive Support Microsoft Windows and Mac concurrently?

I recently bought the Western Digital MyBook Live NAS Drive and am currently using it with various Microsoft Windows PC's, but am looking at buying a MacBook in the fall. The WD specs says it supports both Windows and Mac, but does it support both concurrently? Meaning can I save a file from a Mac and access it seamlessly from a PC and vice versa?

I'm new to the Mac world, so your help would be appreciated.
