Sep 3, 2013 1:13 AM in response to BDAquaby GOS2013,BDAqua - I have Safari 10.5.6 I think.. Will it still work using the instructions in this link you gave me?
Is it too late to perform the instructions in that link if I've already done what I said in my original question?
Thank you!!!

Sep 3, 2013 1:19 AM in response to GOS2013by GOS2013,Please disregard the Safari comment, Im freaking out and talking senseless lol. This all started by accidentally enabling parental controls im Safari.. I enabled it from a "Managed" account, couldnt get to any of my email sites and wanted to disable/uncheck parental controls but didnt have an admin password.. This is stressing me out, my computer is needed for work and is like my lifeline:))) Sorry for the confusion - I just need this fixed asap!!

Sep 3, 2013 2:26 PM in response to GOS2013by BDAqua,Hello,
CMD+r ... does that work to run Disk Utility or not?
By rights, the other things should not affect any other users.
The first thing you did, did it ever get you a fresh admin account?

The CMD R takes me to a screen where I can click on a picture of a hard disk. I clicked on it and it took me back to the new setup screen. I am on Leopard 10.5 -
No I was never able to complete the new admin account, I cannot type with the keyboard. It just makes a ding every time I press any key. No matter what screen its on, whether its the Wifi screen, Registration etc, the keyboard wont type.
The funny thing is that I have the mouse plugged into the usb on the side of the keyboard and the mouse works. I tried plugging the keyboard into diff usb ports on the computer and still no luck..
