unable to empty trash TunnelBlick in use

Hi there.. first time mac user here... installed an app "TunnelBlick" which is a vpn client then deleted it ( moved to trash). but now it is stuck over there. whenver i try to empty the trash, it says- The operation can’t be completed because the item “Tunnelblick” is in use. In addittion to these, there is a folder which is the package content of TunnelBlick.app from the previous installation it is also not getting deleted .

i tried appdelete, trash it and force empty from terminal but nothing worked..

Restart your Mac. In the restart window, make sure that "Reopen windows when logging back in" is unmarked. Also, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items, and make sure that this application is removed from the list.

Another way is to start up in safe mode, by holding the Shift key while your Mac is starting, so you can be sure that you will be able to remove that application.

However, you can't remove TunnelBlick by moving it to Trash. See > http://code.google.com/p/tunnelblick/wiki/cInstall#Uninstalling_Tunnelblick

tried both..
in safe boot, same error.. TunnelBlick in use. And deleted all the login items already..

And the link you have provided, i've tried it but it ian't working.. coz i've already deleted the application ( moved to trash) and when i try to emty, it shows this error..
Actually i think there are some files which are not letting to delete me that item. i've seen the package contents of tunnelblick.app. there is some shortcut fr.lproj
