Q: How do I block  permanently emails that I never requested but keep receiving?

Strangely, I continue to receive e- mails that somehow are connected to other accounts but you can't seem to unsubscribe even if you e- mail them to rectify the mail. How do you permanently rid yourself of these pests?

If they're along the line of spam, well it's easier to rid your home of roaches than it is to get off their lists. Once it gets on a spam list it just gets passed and passed and passed....and since they use disposible addresses to mail from, sometimes blocking them is near useless.

However, going to your mail provider's main site and using any blocking tools they give you can help. For example, I can't do much with Yahoo from within the mail app. If i go to their mobile site, I have a few more options available, and if I use my computer then I either have more or different options, or maybe they can just be easier to use.

Perhaps if you look at your provider's main site you can see more options to block the spam. Unfortuantely, the 'unsubscribe' usually only works with reputable companies. E-mailing disreputable ones and unsubscribing sometimes is nothing more to them than confirmation that it's a 'live' address.
