Once it gets on a spam list it just gets passed and passed and passed....and since they use disposible addresses to mail from, sometimes blocking them is near useless.
However, going to your mail provider's main site and using any blocking tools they give you can help. For example, I can't do much with Yahoo from within the mail app. If i go to their mobile site, I have a few more options available, and if I use my computer then I either have more or different options, or maybe they can just be easier to use.
Perhaps if you look at your provider's main site you can see more options to block the spam. Unfortuantely, the 'unsubscribe' usually only works with reputable companies. E-mailing disreputable ones and unsubscribing sometimes is nothing more to them than confirmation that it's a 'live' address.
