How do I block email from one person?

Try going to Mail preferences>rules and create a rule to block that address.

Add rule, dropdown "any recipient" and select from, in the box on the right enter the address click plus.

Under perform the following actions select delete, select the mailbox click plus.

Tell the guy to stop sending you email.
