I bought John Legend's new album and I received an email saying that it was ready for download but when I opened iTunes it was already marked as "purchased." It doesn't give me the option to download it and it is not in my library or purchased folder in iTunes. Please help.

You can download purchased music from here:
Open the iTunes app > More > Purchased > Music
Thank you for responding so quickly but like I said its not in my purchased folder or my music library but it is marked purchased.
Is it in iTunes on your computer? If so, resync.
Also, try signing out then back in to the iTunes & App stores
