My iMac G5 needs upgrade from 10.4 to 10.5 Leopard

Is there anywhere to download a 10.4 to 10.5 upgrade?

Apple doesn't sell it. I found the upgrades to from 10.5 to 10.5.8 at Apple.com.

If it isn't available for download anywhere reliable, how can I find which upgrade DVDs are compatible (like Apple part number) with my model iMac G5 (won't run 10.6, or is there a way to force that install)?

These install DVDs are expensive on eBay, so I want to be sure I'm getting the right one if I have to go that route.

Thanks

You need to contact Apple in order to get Leopard from Apple assuming they still have copies.

Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775

These discs will be replacement OS install discs.

You will need to give the rep your Mac model and serial number and you'll, also, need a credit card as there is a nominal fee of around $18 for processing and shipping of the disc.

Good Luck!
