Can't access iTunes store from my Mac

Recently installed iTunes version 11, after deleting the previous version I had. (On my MacBook Pro)

Now I'm unable to access the iTunes store. Every time I click on 'iTune Store' the page goes blank. No error message.

Does anybody have the same problem or any advice?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hi, did two simple things:

1- in Network location, I changed from Automatic to a specific Network Location (I called it Home but it works with all DHCP networks.) To do that, if someone is new, you go to: System Preferences>Network>Assist Me>Assistant and the rest is easy

Doing that just worked fine, but to garantee it I used another Apple Tip

2- Open iTunes, go to Preferences and than to Parental Control. There, if it's not, you check iTunes Store and Allow Access to iTunes U

Close preferences, quit iTunes, Open iTunes again, do the same as above, uncheck both, and close Preferences.

If it worked with the first the second garantees it all.

It works only in iTunes in MacBooks, desktops and Windows, and if all other Apple accecess are working.

Good luck!

My problem was that I had to install some software updated on my computer and then it worked

(clicked on the Apple icon -> Software updates -> Installed them, restarted the computer and was able to connect to the iTunes store)

None of the suggestions here seem to work for a lot of us, myself included. Neither my Mac Mini on Snow Leopard or MBP on Mtn Lion can connect to the Store. I've been trying to update iTunes Match all day with no luck. It seems like there's a problem going on because even the support page won't let me send a email to them. It's not a network problem because everything else works just fine, including being able to type this. Status page shows nothing wrong, but that could just be because no one can actually get through to tell them.
