Q: Will the old memory from my MacBook Pro work in my MacBook

The maximum memory that the Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook supports are 8 GB, so there won't be any problem if you use the MacBook Pro memory onto your wife's MacBook, as both use the same memory. Also, Apple doesn't specify the cache of the memory for the Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook

The modules I took out of my MacBook Pro were 2GB each, so I basically have a 4GB kit ready to go, but with 512MB cache instead of the 256MB cache. Seems like it should work...
I'm basically just wondering if I could mess anything up if I put in the modules with a 512MB cache.
