Q: Internet connection is good but Apple TV slow to respond and has hesitation during Netflix playing

Does Apple TV need a certain download speed to operate? Have Apple Airport router with decent internet connection/not high speed but Apple TV not great. Netflix hesitates; movies impossible to download and watch if purchased.

Yes, streaming content requires a sufficinet connection.

For HD content 6mbps

For SD 3mbps

Netflix adapts to the connection, iTunes content will start one enough has loaded
