Printing 2 A5's on a sheet of A4

Hello All

I have searched the forums but still can't master this.

So, I have one document which I want to first duplicate and then arrange the original as 2 A5's on an A4 page.

I drag another of the same document onto the sidebar, (think this could be the problem) ,highlight them both as I want both pages printed.

Select Paper size A4

Select Layout 2 pages per sheet

select paper handling, pages to print all pages

select scale to fit paper size

destination paper size A4

But only one document prints ie I get on A5 on an A4 page.

I think where I am falling down is that I cant seem to "duplicate a page".

Any pointers very gratefully received.
