Hello,
i'm using fcp 6 and i have big probllems with using more difficult effects, and by that i mean that it quits or it remains locked.Only way to entered the same project again is to force quit and take it from the autosave volt.
Can anybody help me??

any specific effects? What format are your sources and what are your sequence settings?
Have you tried resetting your fcp preferences?
So i'm working with HD material and my seq sttings are : 1440*1080 HD 16-9 with HDV 1080i50 compressor.
I'll give an example : when i try to fill out a "Glass Panes" transition, from "Master templates",the fcp program quit unexpectedlly or it just remains blocked.And this is just an example...the same prob. happens whenever i try to use a more elaborate efect.It also shows sometimes "Codec not found"...
I allready resetted my preferences and i don't have any idea what to do.
