Record enabled channels turn off after browsing a few presets

I have found that when browsing preset guitar settings (channel strips) the record enabled track will go silent (record enabled turns off) usually after 3 4 or 5 presets. It is extremely annoying.

I have tried to trash preferences to no avail.

Any ideas or similar experiences?
