Sep 8, 2013 3:20 AM in response to Barry Hemphillby HolliHollsen,It seems that my bluetooth driver crashed or anything. Tried it with an other MacBook and worked fine. Called the Apple- and LG-Support.
The Apple-Supporter told my to reinstall my OS X. Crashed. I´ll start a complete new installation today.

May 28, 2016 9:10 PM in response to HolliHollsenby SteveHK,I have an MBP Retina late 2013 running El Capitan and I just connected to an LG sound bar model LAS550H via bluetooth with no problem, AFTER I went to Bluetooth preferences on my MBP and removed all other connected bluetooth devices. I then switched on the LG sound bar and paired by selecting pair in MBP bluetooth, and it worked. No codes or similar were required.
I found out about removing all other connected bluetooth devices from the instructions for a Bose bluetooth speaker.
I hope that this helps.
