converting mpg to mov

how can i convert movies with mpg formats to .mov without affecting my video resolution? my imovie projects look tremendously blurry!!

To convert .mpg to .mov, you should take assistance of video converting tool. I've used Video Converter which allows to customize video resolution. Maybe you can have a try. Anyway it is said that VLC player can play almost any file type. Sounds good. You might as well give a try too.

Convert with a video converter like handbrake and what's point is that you should make sure the output video resolution is the same as the original video's.

Hi! I have already download handbreak. I converted 1 video to try it. The size of the original video is 21 MB and the size of the encoded one is of 25 MB. That means it has a better resolution than the original one? Or what can i do so they both have the same size and dimensions?
