I have an iPhone 4S that stopped connecting to wifi. When I go to the options to turn it on, it is greyed out and will not allow me to turn it on.

If that doesn't work, try restoring as new via http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
If that doesn't work, it's a hardwre issue. Free replacement if within warranty and not physically damaged, $149 if it is out-of-warranty or physically damaged, no replacement if unauthorized service has been performed on the device.
Thanks. It's a hardware issue. I'll wait for the next version to come out instead of spending the money on a replacement.
This works: - switch the phone off. Put it in the freezer for 4 - 5 minutes. (i put mine between two packets of frozen peas) Remove it and switch it on! I had tried all the other suggestions with no success.
